Stopping Soon is a body of work that investigates the inevitable decay of the human body, specifically looking at the legs as the primary source of ambulation.  The pace of society is forever increasing with technological advancements, and as a result people are more busy than ever before.  The human body must compensate to keep up.  But how much compensation can the body do until it can no longer function?  This series of pantyhose sculptures visually measures the fine line between too much activity and too little activity.  The eventual aesthetic decay of the body’s primary source of movement is a strikingly harsh reality.
